The man leading the fight in Washington against Keystone XL will be among dozens of environmentalists gathering near Fort McMurray later this week.

They call it the  "Tar Sands Healing Walk"  and it happens Friday and Saturday. Keepers of the Athabasca says "people will come together from coast to coast to join First Nations and Metis in the Healing Walk, a gathering focused on healing the environment and the people who are suffering" from oil sands expansion.

High profile environmentalist Bill McKibben, founder of 350.org - the group behind two of the largest anti-Keystone rallies in Washington - will be there along with Naomi Klein, another key player in the green movement. The actual walk happens Saturday after workshops on Friday.
