You're invited to grab your camera and bring the family down to the Alberta Aviation Museum this weekend to catch a view of the aircraft as they are rarely seen.
Executive Director Tom Hinderks says the museum is making a rare and major floor change.
"Virtually every aircraft is going to be moved," remarked Hinderks. "Most of them will be moved outside into a special compound set up on the taxiway next to the airport." All ready, two aircraft have moved. The B-25 and the 737, so as you drive to work on Kingsway you'll see them smiling at you. And the rest all come out and will be going back in to new positions. Even the hanging aircraft and the very large scale models are being dropped down and moved into new positions."
Hinderks says the new look of the Alberta Aviation Museum will be unveiled when they roll out their newly restored F-104 Starfighter on August 17th. (td)
