Ed Gibbons has been a Ward 4 Councillor since 2001 and has confirmed that he will seek re-election on October 21.
Gibbons moved into municipal politics after losing his MLA seat in Edmonton-Manning to PC candidate Tony Vandermeer in the 2001 Provincial Election.
Gibbons previously worked as the Liberal critic for Municipal Affairs, Gaming, and Government Affairs. (JSL)
